Qué llevas? - CLOTHES + COLORS LESSON
Re-cap on clothes and colors to talk about what we wear. Variety of activities including: Game of splat (2 students at board, teacher says item of clothing in English, first one to find it in Spanish and 'splat' the board wins); vocabulary test; revision of colors; stroop colors activity; explanation of adjectival endings; translation activities; describe a celebrity; quiz.
Prepositions handout
Handout activity to consolidate the use of prepositions, compliments Powerpoint lesson. Students match expressions in Spanish and English then complete the sentences with the missing preposition. Extension provided for the more able - write three of their own original sentences using prepositions.

Lesson which looks at how to describe the place where you live. Looks at the differences between city and town and goes over adjectival endings. Re-caps giving opinions also.
Qué Vas A Hacer? - LESSON: FUTURE TENSE
Lesson originally designed to introduce future tense to 7th Grade but could be adapted for other groups. Links in with the topic of free time. Includes mini-whiteboard activity where students identify the tense of the verb (present or near future), game of battleships and extension activity (reading comprehension).
Le Passé Composé - JOUONS!
Nice starter or to wrap up. Students must identify all 6 parts of the verbs AVOIR and ETRE and put them in order. Then they must sort the infinitive verbs into groups; those that are used with AVOIR and those that are used with ETRE. Takes a bit of time to prepare but once you have the resources they can be used again and again.

Handout to compliment lesson of same title. Students translate the film types into English then label the pictures in Spanish.
Dónde Vives? - LESSON
Introductory lesson to countries. Includes numbers game where teacher gives students a sum - tres más uno - and students have to write down the country that is in the box with the answer. Also looks at the present tense of IR verbs and includes a reading comprehension - teacher to make up the questions.

Lesson looking at types of food (italian / chinese etc) and how to give opinions and justify in Spanish. A variety of activities including speaking opportunities, gap fill activity and writing task.
